adaptive contrast QHD (FHD?)

this firmware update is floating around the internet to disable the adaptive contrast in the eeprom of the display, its only for the QHD display version and windows - if someone can port it to linux and for the FHD display too, i would be very thankfull!

Sorry for being late on this ! That's a good news for those annoyed by this. Too bad it's windows only and QHD only too.

From what I understand, the FHD panel is physically not flashable BTW.

Can I reference your google drive link in the readme ?

sure and yes, FHD is physically not flashable, sadly :( dell accept a display change for money but the price is too high for me, and i hate the QHD because of the glass.
