Hi Anthony, thanks for asking. The manuscript for this package never ended up getting published, unfortunately. Most of the work can be understood by reading the main reference linked at the top of the README. The scl_full() routines do the same thing, but instead of reducing relationships to varios kinds of minimal spanning tree as described in Guo & others, that uses the entire adjacency matrix, with no reduction of any ikind.
