Investigate new languages available in Google Translate

Looks like the language set has expanded in Google Translate (not in Google Cloud though). https://blog.google/products/translate/google-translate-new-languages-2024/

We might be able to add a few locales still for MACHINERY?

We'll need support for these new languages to propagate to Cloud Translation API before we can start using them: https://cloud.google.com/translate/docs/languages

We have a Google translate code and a Google automl code for each locale, I assumed we could enable new locales that were previously not supported by Google Translate (if there are any)? What am I missing?

Ah, I'm guessing Google Translate ≠ Cloud Translation API ≠ AutoML 🙄
