[Android] Text caret is wrongly displayed when deleting a space between paragraphs
[Affected Platforms]:
- Pixel (Android 8.0.0)
- HTC Desire 820 (Android 6.0.1)
[Prerequisites]:
- Have the latest version of the "Firefox Notes" application (notes-1_0-qa-v2046) installed.
- Have a note that contains text on several paragraphs.
[Steps to reproduce]:
- Open the Notes application and log in if needed.
- Tap on the note from the prerequisites.
- Place the text caret at the beginning of a paragraph and tap the backspace key.
[Expected result]:
- The space between the paragraph is deleted and the text caret is correctly displayed.
[Actual result]:
- The space between the paragraph is deleted but the text caret is wrongly displayed.
[Notes]:
- This issue is not reproducible on Samsung S8 (Android 8.0.0) and Huawei P8 Lite (Android 6.0)
- If you delete a space between paragraph when creating a note, the text caret changes its position but the space is not deleted.
- Attached a screen recording of the issue:

I have retested this issue with latest version of "Firefox Notes" application (notes-1_0-qa-v2516 custom built on 25.06.2018). And it looks like the actual behaviour has changed. Now, the space between the paragraphs is not deleted.
The issue is reproducible on Pixel (Android 8.0.0), Huawei P8 Lite (Android 6.0) and Huawei P9 Lite (Android 6.0), but is not reproducible on Samsung S8 (Android 8.0.0).
Considering this I will reopen this issue.
I am attaching a screen recording of the issue:
