Add article linked from "About Mozilla" to explain why Firefox is important to us

If a person is visiting the "About Mozilla" page, it's because they are interested in learning more about the company. Currently, there is a link to the Firefox product page. This is probably not the information that user would be most interested in, and since the Firefox product page is the first link in the global nav, it is probably unnecessary to link to the product page here.

As Firefox is our most fundamental product, this would be a great opportunity to explain why Firefox is so important to Mozilla's mission. We could describe how using open source development, our community of volunteers, all of the web dev tools etc are critical to how we want to achieve this. This could provide context for Mozilla's choices that is frankly not clearly described elsewhere.

Success Criteria

  • [ ] Create an "About Firefox" page and replace the link to the Firefox product page on the "About Mozilla" page.
  • [ ] Include a Firefox CTA at the bottom of this page, and monitor whether people navigate to the PP from here. If no one uses the link, remove it.
  • [ ] Success criterion for page: Scroll depth, which reflects whether people read most of the page. Automatically measured in GA4. If people do not read the page, revisit.
