The glow effect appears on the menu and the tab switcher while trying to scroll when they cannot be scrolled.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open menu, tab switcher or settings

  2. Swipe down (visible on tab switcher with at least one tab, settings and menu) or up (not visible on tab switcher or settings but visible on menu)

Expected behaviour

  • no glow effect

Actual behaviour

  • Glow effect appears

Device information

Galaxy S4 GT-I9506, Android 5.0.1

This is the issues tracker for the Reference Browser, not for Fenix. Fenix is https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues. 😉

You're right. Just installed ref browser and could repro this in the tab switcher. Like Fenix, the glow effect in the menu was fixed, so they do have some similarities, both being Android Components and GeckoView based.
