Searching in the AwesomeBar does nothing; only urls work

Steps to reproduce

  1. Type any search term into the toolbar.
  2. Hit enter.

Expected behavior

  • The search term is used to open google.

Actual behavior

  • The toolbar dismisses; nothing happens

Device information

  • Android device: Android 11, Pixel 4
  • Reference Browser version: 06/11/20

@pocmo does this sound like a search bug?

I can't reproduce it in today's Fenix nightly.
