URL bar- Long tapping the highlighted text does not trigger the cut, copy, paste functionality

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open app and go to a webpage.
  2. Tap on the URL bar.
  3. Long tap on the highlighted text.

Expected behavior

  • The cut,copy,paste,share functionality is triggered.

Actual behavior

  • The functionality is not triggered. The user needs to tap again on the test and then on the handler and then on the "Select all" option.

Device information

  • Android device: Sony Xperia Z5 (Android 7)Samsung Galaxy S9 (Android 8)
  • Reference Browser version: 1.0.2013 (Build #20831206) GV:76.0a1-20200318041411

Gif: 20200323-171853

Note:

  • This only happens on the Sony Xperia Z5 (Android 7) device.
  • This also affects Firefox Preview Nightly - build from 200323 (Build #20830607) GV: 76.0a1-20200319094444 on the same device

Hi, I can still reproduce this issue with R-B 1.0.2013 (Build #20891207) GV:76.0a1-20200325093457 Sony Xperia Z5 (Android 7).

With Samsung Galaxy S9 (Android 8) and Google Pixel 3 XL (Android 9) the issue can't be reproduced.

Hi, issue is fixed verified with Google Pixel 3XL (Android 9) on R-B 1.0.21 (Build #21410607 GV: 78.0a1-20200518093924)

Hi, i'll reopen the issue as I encounter the issue again with Sony Xperia Z5 (Android 7) on R-B 1.0.2023 (Build #21550609 GV: 78.0a1-20200601093812)

Reproduce the issue only with one of the devices: SonY Xperia Z5 (Android 7) on RB: 1.0.2035 (Build #22390611 GV: 81.0a1-20200820093209) and Firefox Preview Nightly 8/26
