While searching something, switching the app and then returning to search deletes the searched term
Firefox Version: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 9; Redmi Note 8) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/80.0.3987.99 Mobile Safari/537.36 Window Size (inner width and height): 393x851
Steps to Reproduce
-Opening browser app. -Entering keyword. -Switching to another app. -Returning back to browser.
Expected Behavior
The key word which entered in search bar should remain same.
Actual Behavior
The search bar goes to default state

IMO this is intended behavior and it is a privacy feature.
@brampitoyo any input here about what the behavior should be?
@mcarare Actually, this might be a bug that’s specific to our New Tab Page.
- When you repeat the same action in Focus while the middle of browsing, the current states of the URL bar and keyboard are preserved
- When you repeat the same action in Firefox Private Browsing Mode (and PBM of other browsers), the URL bar and keyboard are also preserved
I reckon we should fix it.
OK. I just thought this would be a privacy feature, so after leaving the browser for some reason, no one else would be able to see your typed search.

I'll re-open this ticket, since I was able to reproduce it on the latest Focus Nightly build 101.0a1 from 4/28 with Oppo Reno 6 (Android 12).
This issue still reproduces on the Focus Nightly 104.0a1 from 7/13 with Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (Android 9), and Oppo Reno 6 (Android 12).
