Keyboard events won’t trigger while site is in fullscreen

I’m using a wireless keyboard. The issue began after the Shield TV updated to Android 9.

Steps to reproduce

Open https://codepen.io/hvianna/full/bGGNoKB Press any key on keyboard. Click the “toggle fullscreen” button. Press any key.

Expected behavior

Keys pressed should appear in the darker text area.

Actual behavior

While in fullscreen no keypresses are registered. Pressing the ‘Esc’ key returns to Firefox TV home screen, instead of just leaving fullscreen.

Device information

• Fire TV device: Nvidia Shield TV
• Latest affected Firefox version: 4.5
• Earliest affected Firefox version: 3.4-B (I haven’t tested with versions earlier than that)
• Turbo Mode: Off

Thanks for logging. Adding a P3 label to keep track of it. It's a little lower frequency because it's only an issue when keyboards are used to control the app
