Incorrect display of "Switch your default browser" banner after update

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install an older version of FF.
  2. Make sure that the “set FF as default browser banner” is displayed (restart the app 5 times to make it appear).
  3. Go to customize homepage.
  4. Set a wallpaper.
  5. Update to the next version.
  6. Observe the banner.

Actual Result:

The banner has no frame.

Expected Result

The banner has a frame.

Notes

The frame appears after you scroll the homepage.

Device & build information

  • Device: iPhone 15 (17.6), iPhone 16+ (18.4).
  • Build version: v139.2 (56474)

this issue reproduces for the following scenario also:

  1. set a custom wallpaper
  2. create a new tab with homepage
  3. remove the custom wallpaper
  4. new tab with homepage => The banner has no frame.

This may go away as we are removing the default browser banner per this ticket - FXIOS-12705: Investigate whether we want to remove message card ( https://mozilla-hub.atlassian.net/browse/FXIOS-12705 )
