Facebook Videos in non-fullscreen mode expand beyond the viewport and are larger than full-screen videos
Steps to reproduce
- Search for Facebook videos via Google
- Select a Facebook video from the search results and navigate to it
- Press play on the regular view
- Toggle to full-screen view
Expected behavior
Non-fullscreen video should probably be smaller than full-screen. I expect to be able to see all of it within my viewport instead of it expanding beyond my viewport.
Actual behavior
Non-fullscreen video is larger than full-screen video and not contained within my viewport.
Device information
- Echo Show device 2nd gen
- Firefox version: 1.3 (latest)
@kglazko Is this new on 1.3? Or an existing bug?
Note: this is consistent with behaviour on Silk
I assume this is a problem with the FB page content. Without injecting a custom fix for the page (generally not a great practice), I'm not sure how much we can change. I'd be curious to see if we can reproduce this behavior in desktop's responsive design mode.
