Is this project dead?
There haven't been any changes to this project since 2012. Will there be any continued progress on this project from moxie0, or will the community have to fork it?
I think it's dead, I haven't seen any official word from moxie but it looks like he is focusing on Tack and Whispersystems now.
The most active fork I've seen is over at https://github.com/mk-fg/convergence which seems to be getting a bit of love, but it's not exploding an taking over the wolrd of SSL in the way I think it should :frowning:

Yes, it's a shame that this is dying. Maybe it could be pushed forward... send me an email, I'm very interested in using it...
I prodded it with a stick and I think it's dead. However, the idea of having a consensus decision about which public key belongs to which domain within a "web of trust" like framework seems like a good one, so I expect there to be an afterlife.
imho this change only stands a chance if coming from someone like mozilla, and they are losing browser share as is. On the other hand maybe it will finally happen there because only very conscious people remain.
