Unifying the map rotation settings is already implemented on master (see #8274).

So much has changed in the meantime, and also map rotation got implemented for UnifiedMap (with more precise controls etc.). I'd vote for closing here and creating a new issue...

I can't remember having seen it at all, but it would be nice to have that info. Maybe even on a per-stage level (in addition to per-cache level).
