Cocoa Pod / Metal Verification

Can we turn off Metal verification and debugging by default in the Cocoapods install? That'd save us a lot of Issues.

Unfortunately, because that's part of the scheme and not the project settings, it doesn't seem to be possible to touch it from the podspec. It may be possible from a post_install hook in the Podfile, but that doesn't help much.

Maybe adding a step to the tutorial / setup steps would help some.
