Ideally, editions would be differentiated by publication date, format, language, and publisher. For classics like _Les Miserables_, there are just _so_ many editions that it's tough to differentiate them meaningfully....

This would be straightforward to add and really helpful when items don't import

I re-read this thread and i think the general consensus is to merge this and also that in the future we could re-think the title bar in a bigger picture...
