installation not working as in readme

Installation failed on ubuntu 22.04:

go get -u moul.io/assh/v2

error:

go: go.mod file not found in current directory or any parent directory.
	'go get' is no longer supported outside a module.
	To build and install a command, use 'go install' with a version,
	like 'go install example.com/cmd@latest'
	For more information, see https://golang.org/doc/go-get-install-deprecation
	or run 'go help get' or 'go help install'.

I testet this:

go install  moul.io/assh/v2@latest

results in:

go: moul.io/assh/v2@latest: module moul.io/assh/v2: Get "https://proxy.golang.org/moul.io/assh/v2/@v/list": EOF

neiter did these work:

go install  moul.io/assh@v2
go: moul.io/assh@v2: module moul.io/assh: Get "https://proxy.golang.org/moul.io/assh/@v/list": EOF

go install  moul.io/assh@2
go: moul.io/assh@2: moul.io/assh@2: invalid version: Get "https://proxy.golang.org/moul.io/assh/@v/2.info": EOF

please advise how to proceed. with regards dariush
