Were you ever able to get around this error during installing the deadline 9 installer? Do you know what the cause might be?

An error occurred while trying to set the repository connection settings. You may have to provide them again when running the client.

@bhowiebkr Did you get anywhere with this? I'm about to try upgrade this repo to Deadline 10 so any headstarts would be handy.
