strange camera images after some time

motionEyeOS Version

I am running motionEyeOS version: 20200606

Board Model

I am using the following board/model: Raspberry PI Zero

Camera

I am using the following type of camera: V4L2 Camera My camera model is: USB2.0 PC CAM (https://5euro.ie/shop/phone-accessories/computer-laptops/network/usb-2-0-pc-webcam-camera-8-0m/)

Network Connection

My motionEyeOS unit is connected to the network via: WiFi

Log Files

I consider the following log files relevant to this issue: boot.log messages.log dmesg.log normal.jpg camera image without issue error.jpg camera image with issue

boot.log messages.log dmesg.log normal error

Description

After some hours (sometimes more, sometimes less) the camera image changes to error.jpg (at website, pictures and movies), it is still capturing. a reboot or any modification at the camera settings brings it back to normal.jpg

You didn't include motion.log, or motioneye.log. I would switch to dev20201026 version of motionEyeOS for PiZero. I don't see anything standing out of the 3 logs you did include.
