Chrome tab crashing on windows 10

Hi,

When we open a log file in finest which spans over 19 mb, chrome tab crashes "Ahh snap". On MAC this does not happen. It happens on windows machine.

Hi, thanks for reporting it. I currently don't have access to windows machine. Can you see what is the reason for the crash? Try openning a smaller log , for example 10MB and see what eats up memory. You can use chrome dev tools for that.

Hello,

Small log files opens fine, the issue is with some big ones. If we add --js-flags="--max_old_space_size=4096" to chrome shortcut and then open, it loads post 12-15 mins.

Not sure if it would help, but Microsoft has a prebuilt, downloadable Windows 10 trial VMs for development such as this: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/downloads/virtual-machines/

They offer a download for vmware, hyper-v, virtualbox, and parallels
