This is a very detailed guide on how to set the HAP bit, I successfully implemented disabling IME on the 8th gen NUC based on your guide, now I share my experience and write a new new Guide: How to Disable IME on Intel NUCs. Also I used the Intel ME System Tools v12 files from your repository for direct download for those reading the guide.
