Keyboard shortcut

It just would be really neat to have a keyboard shortcut, so that you can hit it and then start typing from the keyboard.

Optionally make it configurable.

There haven't been any updates to this addon for four years.

However, if you're using Chrome, this feature seems to be native. Just open chrome://extensions/shortcuts from the address bar (or open Extensions, click the three bar menu, and choose Keyboard Shortcuts) and you can add a keyboard shortcut to any extension. I've tested this in Chrome, and it works fine.
