No Sync on Sony PVM 20L5

Open tgeorgiadis opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

I'm unable to get sync on my Sony PVM 20L5.

I have a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B that's running RGB-Pi OS4 v27 and connected with the RGB-Pi cable. I bought the cable last month. I made sure to have the cable facing outwards as shown here https://www.mortaca.com/rgb-pi/wiki/index.php?title=RGB-Pi_SCART_Installation

I have the SCART & VGA version of this BKM-129x card that plugs in at the back of the Sony PVM 20L5. I plugged the RGB-Pi cable into this card. The monitor is also set to RGB mode. https://www.retroupgrades.co.uk/product/bkm-129x-card/

However, the image I get is scrambled and cannot stabilize. It also only shows the colour green. I've turned turning on/off the EXT SYNC button on the monitor with no luck. Image below sync isse

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, to get support better enter on our telegram or discord channels linked on the bottom of the web rgb-pi.com is better way to talk, I think viewing your expansion board yo have enabled the YPbPr not the RGB input, I think another users have your same monitor model on the comunity, see you on the chat.
