Retroarch Language issue, config won't save & Restore System password *FIXED/CLOSED*
I have Os4 on a PI4. The language is set to English. Retroarch loads as Spanish, when I change to English in the Retroarch menu that works but when I to go save config it gives a failed to save config message. When I load a ROM again, Retroarch is once again in spanish.
Perhaps the "Restore System" function will fix it? What is the password for this?
The save/load state functionality of retroarch no longer works either (Hotkey+R trigger or Hotkey+L trigger)
I figured out the restore system password "1234." The issue is still the same even after doing a system restore. Retroarch loads in spanish & save/load states are broken.
Perhaps I should reflash the image to the sd card and then make a backup of the retroarch files folder so that I can reupload them over FTP if retroarch breaks in this way again?
Which files/folders exactly do you think would cause this problem?
Narrowed the problem down further. This is only occurring on the snes9x core.
Deleted /home/pi/gamefiles/gameconfig/snes9x folder, this fixed the problem!
