Mismatched year with supersubtitles

Open tlc opened this issue 6 months ago • 3 comments

Describe the bug Looking for subs for "Obey (2013)". Doing manual search, "Resource" and 79% matching "Release" say "Obey (2013)". Also, dwelling over the "match" item shows a dialog that says the year was one of the things matched.

But if you dwell over the "supersubtitles" link it's to a 2018 movie.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Have a file named "Obey (2013) - [720p][AAC 2.0][AVC].mp4"
  2. Do a manual search.
  3. Observe the year in the Resource and Release.
  4. Dwell over the Match "(!)". Observe the Year in the matched list.
  5. Dwell over the supersubtitles link. See a different year.

Expected behavior Find the right film or fail. Don't install incorrect subtitles.

Follow up question. Is there a way to mark a particular subtitle bad so it's not re-downloaded?

This provider results always match over year since it's not provided in most search results unless we parse the release name for something that look like a year. It would require additional coding to improve that and I don't have time right now. If anyone want to give it a try, feel free to open a PR!

In history, you can blacklist it.
