[ipad] swipe left to return from article to article list confuses between back and show community chooser overlay

Describe the bug

• navigate to article on iPad
• Swipe from left screen edge to return to article list

Expected Behavior Return to article list

Actual Behavior most of the time the Slide Over community chooser comes up, there seems to be no real determinism

One workaround I would be happy with, would be to nix the swipe gesture to bring out the community chooser overlay. The toolbar already has a button for that, and it is used far more rarely than the back button. So the back button should have the shortcut.
