Allow sorting of normal playlists

I have not found an easy way to create a playlist with newly downloaded songs. My current method of creating a playlist is to create a smartlist which includes all my songs and then to add all these songs to a static playlist. It is unintuitive and since a smartlist has no sorting by date added i cannot find the songs i just downloaded quickly

Maybe add an option to include all songs in a folder when creating or editing a playlist so that when clicking: Update library, the folder will be rescanned and new songs will be added to playlist with the specified folder location

Another option would be to add a sorting option to the songs tab that sorts by date added

You can do that. You just need to edit the mp3 tags and enter the track number and album for each song. After that the album will show up in the correct order
I don't really get the problem here. Smartlists can order by "date added to library". So you should be able to create a smartlist that always contains the latest songs. Or does it need to be a playlist?
