Genre support
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I have plenties of artists in my music library, and many artists have loads of different names (e.g.: Artist; Artist feat. Someone; Artist ft. Someone...). Because of that, in VLC, I had gotten used to, instead of manually adding each version of the artist to a playlist, playing music by genre. Unfortunately, I can't reproduce that same behaviour in mucke, my new favourite music player.
Describe the solution you'd like I'd like to be able to have a list of genres in my library under a new "Genres" tab. Obviously, it'd be cool to be able to search for genres, as well. And to top it all off, being able to add whole genres to smartlists would be a game changer to me. For instance, I'd like to have an "EDM" playlist that contains house, techno, dance, hardcore, hardstyle, trap, dubstep and synthwave music.
Describe alternatives you've considered Alternatively to supporting genres, you could let the user add an "artist name contains [...]" rule when creating smartlists.

I knew, this day would come 😄 I've never used genres myself, but I totally get your use case. At some point, this will be implemented, but probably not this year (at least not by me).
