Request: Syntax error check

Hi! when creating animation XML files for MS Flight Simulator, there's often element names like this <TT_VALUE_#POS_LOW#>. The syntax check complains about the # character in the name - which is probably correct. However, I'd like to ask if it would be possible to allow this character through an option or something similar? This would be of great help.
