[WFRP4e System] UI optimization for combat with standard NPC

Hi Moo-man,

I've recently mastered a massive combat with gobelins hord against my group with his allies. It was very long for my players and very slow for me, but I identified some simple improvement ideas for faster combat.

First two UI optimization would be convenient :

  1. I think it's possible to display targets list in launch interface. (Adding from a list of targets in token view would be even better).

  1. I thought it might be appropriate to add to the opposing test message combat actions as presented in the "Token Action Hud Classic" or a list of chosen tests (standard, define for the pc, or proposed for the active skill). The target PC or the GM would only have to click in the majority of cases and for the 30% others the actual system remains. image image

Third idea is more complicated. But it is frequent standard NPC duels even outside of mass battles. I would imagine a macro. This Macro opens an interface with one columns for active token and one for the target. 3 lines:

  1. choice of an action for the attacker and defender based on the “Token Action Hud Classic” model
  2. classic throwing panel
  3. checkbox to apply damage type and crit automatically. The throw button display a summary whisper in the chat (without the different steps to avoid noise).

So we would have the follow use case:

  1. turn order next,
  2. target,
  3. macro,
  4. definition of options,
  5. throw button,
  6. display in the chat of the summary of the weapon pass,
  7. narration by the GM.

A module is possible but I have the impression that there is more a question of assembling existing bricks than of really creating one. Ideally this would be included in the system to avoid regressions. Whithout cover every case possible this interface is good for 70% times without conflict with the standard system.

What do you think of my ideas and will these additions be possible in the Warhammer Core?
