Add tie notes

Recently i tried to put a tied note, but i cannot did it. So i as far as i can see, tied notes doesn't exist here (yet). Am i right? Or there is some way to do this without coding?

What is the purpose for needing a tied note for drum sheet music? You can just leave the tied notes out and it won't change what is played. Perhaps I am missing something important here.
