Can be Windows version still be used on MacOS Clients?

Hi! I'm curious about utilising this mod in my modpack, however I would only want to add it if everyone can still use the modpack normally even if they don't run Windows. It would not have to work or load on Mac, only on Windows, but the rest of the game would still have to work for MacOS users. Is this possible?

Until @montoyo comes back to WebDisplays community, someone named @ds58 forked MCEF and upgraded it to the newer Chromium version (v.100 as of 9 June 2022), and also released macOS and Linux compatible versions. Most Chromium-related issues are solved by downloading his new version of MCEF. More details can be found below: https://github.com/montoyo/mcef/pull/73 https://github.com/ds58/mcef/releases
