Clear date range

It would be great to be able to clear the date range.

Why would you like to have that function? Do you mean optional button 'clear'? Or do you want to have access to input? Blank input could cause improper behavior.

Let's say I use the date range picker to filter a list of items. Then I want to filter on something else and remove the date range filter.

There's currently no (easy) way to do that, or is there?. A small circular x-button inside the date range field would really help!

Yes, any time date range is used as a filter it is a necessity to have a button to clear it.
