Update documentation for Windows environment

Describe the bug Conda environment management not working as expected on Windows under Cygwin based shells as described in the documentation. Using the bash shell provided by the git client for Windows appears to get around this limitation.

  • Version: later versions, Windows 10 is being used as test system

Documentation should include information as to how to install the package via PyPI and conda. This should come after issue #56 has been resolved.
