Are you saying you can't adjust your system volume when youre on monkeytype?
using the volume buttons on the keyboard yes but I am able to change it via bluetooth headphones.
I would like to note that when I say app I am referring to the PWA

specifically a Lenovo 500e yoga Chromebook gen 4
Surprisingly my Lenovo Chromebook also does this. Strange behavior, honestly, but you gotta believe, I suppose.
