The video is HDR HEVC so it's the same issue as in [#491](https://github.com/moneytoo/Player/issues/491#issuecomment-1631309042). You might have better luck trying [Next Player](https://github.com/anilbeesetti/nextplayer) which includes extra decoders for AVC and HEVC.

You could try testing it in other ExoPlayer based players like [Next Player](https://github.com/anilbeesetti/nextplayer). If you will still experience your issues, next step would be replicating these in the [ExoPlayer Demo...
Resume should generally work (at least as long the video file stays at the same location). Describe in more detail on how you start videos to better understand the issue.
Release [v0.125](https://github.com/moneytoo/Player/releases/tag/v0.125) includes ExoPlayer [r2.18.2](https://github.com/google/ExoPlayer/releases/tag/r2.18.2) which has some DV related improvements. Any difference?

AFAIK source is not available and binaries are only for x86, it's Xorg app with unsure whatever it can be use headless, it provides only one functionality - syncing music...
