Feature Request: Option to use default audio track as defined by the file
As far as I can tell, there is one option for choosing which audio track loads by default when you fire up a video file: by preferred language. Set it to English, and the player will automatically select an English audio track. While this may sound good in theory, it doesn't make much sense to me in practice, as anytime I go to watch a foreign language movie/program that has an English language dub or commentary track, that is the track that will play by default. It seems to me there should be an option to just use whichever audio track is actually tagged as the default within the file.
I agree this is how it should work. It's what most players do, as it's the standard and the whole reason for setting tracks as default. But I noticed it doesn't seem to use the default track. When watching a video the other day, it seemed to select a different audio track despite all of them being English, so not sure why it did that.
