enable customization of 4x1 widget

I have found the 4X1 widget is not very useful and 4X3 widget is very big. Please inform me if possible to make 4X1 widget customizable to show not only total but separate account. For example, I have account "CASH" and this is default account for me and I need to know its balance most often.
