Moneros CCS funded this (along with maintenance of the monero-gui flatpak (served @ flathub)) a vital.step.of this journey is already in progress here https://github.com/monero-project/monero-gui/pull/4151

flathub has a verified blue checkmark similar to Twitter. It shows that a flathub project is official and not by random third-party. Please consider applying for it.
