Add mass flux from melting or freezing to the ice-ocean boundary type (IOB)
Add mass flux from melting or freezing to the ice ocean boundary type. While we are at it, let's make sure we have a complete list of fields we would like to add to the IOB type.
This requires updates to the coupler. @adcroft-gfdl will look into moving the coupler to GitHub.
Did we address this?
We have added seaice_melt to the IOB in the MCT and NUOPC caps, but this field still needs to be added to the IOB in the coupled_driver. All the 'hooks' below the drivers have been already added (i.e., search for seaice_melt here). The same applies to the heat associated with sea ice and snow, melt or formation (seaice_melt_heat).
