Feature Request: input bam list file instead of folders

I believe file describing the bam files to analyse would be a good improvement instead of a folder.

This would also enable additional metadata to be tagged to each bam file allowing, for example, the sex match of samples with controls

if the bam_input file was something like this format:

location sample_name gender ... etc

We have had this request from other users as wel. I'll discuss with my colleague to see if and when we will implement this feature.
