Changes in URL Structure Affecting Link Component and Search Parameters

I think this change(#465) should have been a MINOR version update at the very least. The change in the URL structure has broken some previously working links, and without an automatic conversion between the old and new structures, some search parameters are now lost.

Another issue is that I can't remove search parameters in the Link component.(https://codesandbox.io/p/sandbox/inspiring-violet-jdpyyy) While this might be more in line with URI standards, it's quite different from most implementations. Because of the issues caused by the minor version auto-upgrade, I'm currently locked to version 3.3.0.
