Custom version format

Hello guys,

I would like to specify my own version comparator/version format.

Why: We would like to use this plugin even for our internal libraries, which is versioned based on the released, they are mention to be in (such as PROJECT_NAME-2022-06-01-BAU-XX), where XX is version number inside of that specific release (in semver it is a patch version).

I saw a similar approach in issue #194 but it does not seems to fit my usecase.

Is it possible to achieve something like that? Did I miss something in documentation, or are there only 3 comparison methods?
