Change to using a better string formatter – use this perhaps (https://github.com/fmtlib/fmt ) an Implementation of C++20 std::format.

Hey @Patamap, @mfellows and @malfrancis, I am an Outreachy applicant and I am interested in this issue. However, I was hoping if you can elaborate on this issue and clear a few doubts that I have:

  1. I saw the fmtlib documentation and saw some enhancements that it can bring. However, how is it a better string formatter than what is already there? Can you please highlight on the current string formatter being used and why you want to change it to fmtlib or the overall improvements it will bring to FLINT?
  2. If you want to change the string formatter, do you intend on making changes everywhere in the project or in some specific packages? Can you also please mention where the previous string formatter was used?
