pycon.de 10/2018 - lightning talk or openspace session
35c3 ccc conference - lt or os
europython 2019 - lt or os
some pre-announced events for focussed discussion on the #moin-dev irc channel
better suited events? (py cons are good for attracting python devs, but we also need UI/UX people)

pycon.de 2018 (Karlsruhe):

no openspace rooms / planning means were offered, so that did not happen.

we had 2 days of sprints, introduced some new developers, help them with set up, some PRs done/accepted.

also did some talking to other python devs about our plans, asking what they use / think, etc.
