Touchpad pinch to zoom behaviour

Touchpad pinch to zoom seems to only trigger very small increments in scaling changes (scroll zoom on mouse is much better), making it take a long time to zoom into a section of the canvas for larger schemas

I'm on a macbook and the 2 fingers zoom works well, so probably it depends on the OS/device.

Actually it would be nice to also support 2 fingers panning on the touchpad, that is, if you don't pinch but rather move your fingers together it should pan the view
