Fully Transparent WebView ?

Open lkcanal opened this issue 10 years ago • 1 comments

Hello,

I'tried to get the webview transparent (did a html body with background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0); and still got a white color background. The idea is to mix a chromium webiview with others layouts below it to get an hybrid html/java application. I tried to set the SurfaceView transparent mSurfaceView.getHolder().setFormat(PixelFormat.TRANSLUCENT); and changed its backgroundColor to Color.TRANSPARENT in ContentViewRenderView class, but still got a blank background and my web site. Is there a way to get the background transparent ?

Thx.

Hi, KATIC:

In a project, we *punch a hole in a WebView to let Video Surface shown, but I have no knowledge of how doing in Chromium. *
