Group conversation title doesn't work

In a group conversations, willing to change the conversation title (group name) does nothing or sometime crash the app

I can confirm this is broken for 3.10.1.2220 but working on 3.9.4.2218 (from F-droid on Android 11)

I was having the same problem. Saw this thread yesterday, tried downgrading, didn't work, so I uninstalled then reinstalled 3.9xxx. it took a while to synchronize messages but then allowed me to name my groups. Cool. I'm kinda wondering if I upgraded back to 3.10xxx if my group names would get wiped out or not but haven't tried it yet. Has anyone else tried that?

Old group titles aren't removed when upgrading to 3.10, it's just that you can't add new ones.

Thanks. I updated to 3.1 and did not lose my group titles.

Is there a mechanism for collecting logs from the app to see what's going on?
