Group sms gets sent as MMS.

I usually schedule sms to be sent out a some contacts, but they fail to deliver because they're being sent as MMS. How can I make my group sms deliver as "SMS" and not MMS? Please help.

There is an item in setting which you can chose to send long messages as MMS, you may need to disable it to prevent sending SMS as MMS.

I already tried this, before lodging the complaint here. With that option disabled, it still attempts to send my SMS as MMS. I also reduced the group SMS to just a page. Same issues.
