Issue displaying messages in inbox on subsequent launches of QKSMS

DESCRIPTION

After 2nd opening of QKSMS, it shows a list of contacts and their numbers, instead of showing the messages in the inbox

STEPS

1. Run QKSMS for the first time. I'll show a list of messages in the inbox, which is normal.

2. Close QKSMS (not force close) and open it again. It'll now show you a completely different screen, with a list of contacts and their numbers. If you go back up a page, app just closes (as if there's no screen for showing messages).

3. Force kill QKSMS and open it back up. Sometimes, it'll show you the messages in the inbox again. Alternatively, switch to Google Messages app and set it as default. Then, force kill QKSMS and switch back to QKSMS, it'll show you messages again. But if you close QKMS and open it a 2nd time, issue repeats.

EXPECTED

Always be able to see messages in inbox on multiple launches of QKSMS

OBSERVATIONS

Subsequent launches of QKSMS shows contact list and their numbers, instead of showing messages. Can't go back to the messages screen.

Running on Android 11. Other messaging apps are fine at displaying messages. It's an issue specific to QKSMS.
